The Choupana Hills Resort & Spa stands on the summit of one of the largest hills of Madeira Island. Built in 2002, this stone and wood establishment is surrounded by a dream-like landscape and has visible Asian and African influences. Spread out over eight hectares, the premises includes 34 bungalows—with a total of 64 spectacular rooms—and two other main buildings; one for the reception, library, meeting hall and spa; and the other for the Basalt Bar and the Xopana Restaurant, where guests will be delighted by exotic and innovative dishes. Both the indoor pool with Jacuzzi and the outdoor pool (located on an outstanding terrace with views of the Atlantic Ocean) bring multiple added values of prestige, fitting for an establishment on this great Portuguese island.
